As a Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach at Sisters in the Community you will link NDIS participants with complex psychosocial and other disability needs to services and supports. The Psychosocial Recovery Coach will assist those who have Psychosocial Recovery Coach funding as part of their NDIS plan, by providing a recovery plan and assisting with linking to supports both clinical and non-clinical to ensure their plan is implemented in a way that meets the person’s goals, as well as, mentor/coach the individual on their recovery journey.
Requirements?
Essential
Current experience as a support coordinator
Cert III Disability / Aged / Individual Support / Community Development OR working towards minimum Cert III
Experience working with people with Psychosocial Disability
A current first aid and CPR certification.
Cert IV Mental Health or Peer Work
Successful experience in coordinating responsive, individualised support to participants with complex needs and their families.
NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, Driver’s License, Right to Work in Australia
Sound administration and IT systems skills
Desirable

Tertiary qualifications that underpins your practical knowledge (for example, a degree within the human services, community services and/or nursing field)
You're an incredible communicator, and know the right words to use to speak to anybody.
